Buying & Sourcing (Fashion) Expert
Location: Zwanenburg (near Amsterdam)

About the Role
As Buying & Sourcing Expert, you are the key connector between design, suppliers, sustainability initiatives, and production. You bring fashion expertise, structure, and a hands-on attitude—ensuring quality, commerciality, and sustainable progress across the chain.
At DSP, you will work closely with a senior team of experts in design, fit & pattern making, product development, production, and quality control. This role is hands-on and requires a true team player: someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys contributing actively to a team that works with synergy from first sketch to final delivery. This role is suitable for a person who likes to take end responsibility for our buying process, as a next step in her/his career.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the buying and sourcing strategy for woven, knit, and jersey garments. Negotiate prices and ensure optimal cost build-up. Support the digitalization of design data, including creating and maintaining styles in the ACA/XPRT system.
- Manage, develop, and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and ensure they align with YOEK’s sustainability standards. Implement sustainability strategies in material sourcing, supplier selection, and product development.
- Oversee delivery schedules, pricing, cost structures, and sustainable compliance, maintaining a structured overview of timelines, deadlines, and priorities.
- Integrate sustainability milestones into DSP workflows, including the creation of digital product passports and structured data transparency.
Who you are
- A fashion-minded professional with strong commercial intuition. Experienced in garment production across woven, knit, and jersey. Skilled in sourcing, price negotiation, and cost calculations.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in buying, sourcing, or product development within the fashion industry.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about sustainability, with experience implementing tangible sustainability strategies in materials, suppliers, and processes.
- Familiar with working in digital product systems (ACA/XPRT experience is a plus) and advanced in Microsoft Excel.
- Independent, hard-working, structured, and proactive. A strong communicator who works well with design, production, and sales. Social, team-oriented, and a good fit for our hands-on team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.

Ihre Aufgaben:
Ausbau und Konsolidierung der
- Marktposition von YOEK in der Region
- Gewinnung neuer Stammkunden
- Auslieferung von Modekollektionen und der YOEK Essentials (NOS) Kollektion an Kunden
- Erfolgreiche Durchführung von Pre-Sale-Runden und Koordination mit dem YOEK-Büro in den Niederlanden
- Evaluierung von Kollektionen und Beratung zu Kollektionen für den deutschen Einzelhandel
Was Sie mitbringen sollten:
- Mehrjährige Vertriebserfahrung in der Modebranche, vorzugsweise im Bereich Curvy Fashion
- Erfolgreiche, nachweisbare Erfahrung als Modeagentur. Wir sind offen für Multibrand-Agenturen, solange das Portfolio nicht mit der Marke YOEK kollidiert
- Fundierte Kenntnisse der Vertriebskanäle in der Plus-Size- und/oder Premium-Mode
- Verbindliches, kommunikatives Auftreten (in englischer Sprache ist von Vorteil)
- Erfahrung mit Tools zur Vertriebsautomatisierung ist von Vorteil
- Motiviert neue Kunden zu suchen und diese langfristig an YOEK zu binden
- Unabhängige Organisation bei der Interpretation von Handlungsmacht

Styling & Production Internship
Location: Zwanenburg (near Amsterdam)

Availability: Minimum 4 days per week, for 5 months

What will you be doing?
As an intern at YOEK, you will support the styling & production team, including:
• You will be involved in the design process, from concept development to creating line sheets and technical drawings
• You will learn how to measure a collection and participate in fitting sessions
• You will assist with entering styles into our ERP system
• You will support the preparation of the new collection in our showroom
• You will learn more about conducting risk analyses
• Other operational tasks
Who are you
• You are currently pursuing a relevant vocational (MBO) degree in design/production
• You are passionate about fashion and design and follow the latest trends
• Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English
• Extensive experience with Adobe Illustrator
• You enjoy collaboration, but also enjoy working independently

YOEK is the Dutch fashion brand for curvy women – and in 2025 we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary! We believe that every woman should proudly show her style. Our collections are sold in boutiques worldwide, through online marketplaces like Zalando and Wehkamp, and of course through our own webshop. After a major rebranding and the launch of our renewed website, we are moving full steam ahead. Therefore, we are looking for an E-commerce & Marketing intern with a sense for fashion, content, and digital marketing.
What will you do
You will support the E-commerce & Branding team with, among other things:
- Managing and optimizing the online brand store—from product texts to visuals
- Publishing new collections online and ensuring everything looks perfect Creating inspiring social content for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
- Contributing to campaigns focused on personalization, loyalty, and branding
- Daily support with creative and operational projects
Who are you
- You are studying a vocational or higher education program in marketing, communication, or fashion
- You have an affinity for e-commerce and social media
- You speak and write Dutch and English fluently
- You are creative, enthusiastic, and hands-on
- You enjoy working collaboratively but can also work independently
- Experience with Photoshop and InDesign is a major plus
